About Miss Nicky

Hi, my name is Nicky Tripp.  I am the Owner/Director of Sing, Giggle, & Grin.  My husband Terry and I have owned the center since 1998.  I have two children Savannah and Keaton, who are both grown.  Savannah and Keaton both attended Sing, Giggle, and Grin as children and enjoyed the exciting and fun educational experiences provided by the center. 

I grew up in the rural Hamler area and attended Patrick Henry Schools.  I have a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati, a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Findlay and a Masters Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Bowling Green State University.

 I am a lifetime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Bavaria where I sit on Church council and teach the 2nd grade 1st Communion class. I have been a board member for the Henry County Board of D.D. HOPE Services since 2021. I am additionally employed by the Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center where I work as an Intervention Specialist at the HOPE Center in Edgerton Ohio, working with children on the autism spectrum.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking walks, and reading.

About Miss Jenny

Hi, my name is Jenny Deuel. I am the Administrator at Sing, Giggle, & Grin and also teach the Preschool Class. I have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education through the University of Cincinnati and hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification from the Council for Professional Recognition, a National Credentialing Program for Early Childhood Educators.  I have been working at Sing, Giggle & Grin since the 2016 school year started. I helped teach gymnastics at the center for a couple years before that, as well. My husband, Justin, and I reside in Deshler. We have two daughters, Alaina and Ella. They both attend Patrick Henry Schools. We also have two miniature dachshunds, Minnie and Caspar.

My dad was in the military when I was young so we moved a lot and lived in a lot of neat places - Minot, North Dakota; the Azores; and Michigan - but my family is originally from the Toledo/Maumee area. For several years we lived in Cygnet, Ohio and I graduated from Elmwood High School.

My family and I attend The Way Community Church in Deshler where my husband also serves as pastor, and I serve as leader of children’s ministry.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing games, watching movies with my husband and spending time with my daughters.

About Miss Ellie

Hi, my name is Ellie West. I have worked at Sing, Giggle, & Grin since February of 2019, currently I am the Administrative Assistant and Assistant Preschool Teacher, but I have also spent time working in the Infant Room, Toddler Room, and with the School-Aged children. I have an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education through the University of Cincinnati and hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification from the Council for Professional Recognition, a National Credentialing Program for Early Childhood Educators. I also have a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Bowling Green State University and studied in Spain for 4 months. I live with my husband, Chris, our two kids, Wyatt and Penny, and our dog, Lucy.

I have always loved children; from baby dolls to tutoring and babysitting, children’s ministry teacher, and now early childhood educator. In my free time, I enjoy biking, reading, and being with my family.

About Miss Alondra

I was born in Pheonix, Arizona, but grew up in Leipsic, Ohio. I am the oldest of 4 siblings (2 sisters/1 brother) and have 3 half-brothers. I graduated from Leipsic High School in 2019. I am bilingual and enjoy teaching the children simple Spanish. I’ve worked with Sing, Giggle, & Grin since July of 2021. This year, I am working as the Lead Infant Room Teacher, but have also worked as the lead in the Toddler Room and as assistant in the Preschool Room.  I enjoy working with kids because they always put a smile on my face. Being a part of their everyday life and seeing them grow up is such an awesome thing to be a part of!  

About Miss Brandi

I have lived in Deshler all my life and I graduated from Patrick Henry High School in 2021. I have worked at Sing, Giggle, & Grin since 2022 as the School-Age Room teacher, but also spend time with the preschool and infant rooms. I enjoy working with kids because I love to discover the ways that they learn best. I love getting to know each kid and seeing how special and unique they all are. I am currently attending Bowling Green State University, majoring in Early Childhood Education. I love spending time with my fiancé and his family. I also really love watching the Andy Griffith Show with my dad.

About Miss Chy

I was born in Grand Rapids, Ohio where I stayed all my life until moving to Deshler. I have worked at Sing, Giggle, & Grin since 2022 in the Infant and Toddler Room, and I’ve worked as a floater in the Preschool and School-Age Rooms. I went to Penta Career Center in high school for Medical Technologies, but I took a break on schooling to focus on my family. I have an 8-year-old – Levi, a 4-year-old - Gracie, and our youngest was born in January of 2023 - River. Growing up, I always wanted to be involved with children and helping everyone: from babysitting, volunteering in church groups with kids, to even volunteering at the nursing home.

About Miss Nicole

I’ve lived in Deshler all of my life and have been working at Sing, Giggle, & Grin since August 2023 as a float to fill in where I’m needed between the Infant, Preschool, or School-Age Rooms. I like to do various crafts, play video games, do puzzles, and read. I have 3 guinea pigs (Maisie, Trixie, and Cookie) and have been with my boyfriend for 11 years. I am thinking of going back to school for Early Childhood Education.
